I am sure at least of a couple of you out there have seen Platoon. It’s supposed to be a harrowing film of war and the duality of man. But the only scene i remember is when Willem Defoe sticks a shotgun in Charlie Sheen’s mouth and starts blowing some high grade Vietnamese weed right down his lungs. I always thought it looked fun, if not a little scary. Well it seems they actually used to do this, in between napalming the fuck out of the countryside. Over here, they are called blow-backs. But they are not usually given by crazed Sargent’s with heavy weapons. More like spotty kids on the back of the school bus. Well, that was the last time i had one anyway.
