Success Story: John Chow

In a brief post yesterday, John Chow bid farewell to his ever-increasing audience of readers. It seems his 'making money on the internet' strategies and fine dining reviews have led full circle to the purchase of his company, TTZ Media Inc by a Toronto-based Internet Venture Company. Although the sale price is not explicitly disclosed, we work backwards from:

I cannot disclose the sale price but it is enough that the interest on the money alone would put me in the top 1% income bracket.

To get: $400k as the top 1% US Income (estimate) x 10 (interest), we're talking $4m+! As a long-time reader and fellow entrepreneur, I wish John the best of luck with future ventures. (If you haven't figured out by now, this is simply an April Fools joke!)

While that is a completely, well-crafted April fools joke.. he posted it on March 31st. He should have just posted it on the 1st.
